Meet the Team

Hi, I'm Jess. I am Designer Stylist and Salon Manager at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I have been working in the industry for over 10 years and, having completed my passion training, I am now proud to be passing my expertise on to the rest of my team. The salon is now recognised as an academy, which is amazing — I absolutely love being able to nurture my staff and see them grow and gain confidence.

Aside from training the team, I am always looking to develop my own skills. My passion is cutting — both precision cuts and more freehand techniques. A recent course with Ben Brown really inspired me. I also really enjoy colour work, I follow trends closely and enjoy big hair transformations. I have added another string to my bow by completing the British extensions masterclass and am now one of the salon's extension specialists.

When I am not in the salon, I enjoy spending time with family, long walks with my dog and socialising. I love any excuse for a spa day, dinner or celebration!

Hi, I'm Holly, Senior Stylist at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I am an original member of the team — part of the furniture, having been at the salon since the very beginning. I love every aspect of hairdressing, but the part that brings me the most satisfaction is the smart details that can really transform a client's look and how they feel about themselves.

I am really interested in texture and love bringing that influence into my work. I follow the latest trends and love learning new techniques to keep my work fresh. My favourite services in the salon have to be balayage or fine baby lights — I love the effect these techniques give. Customer service is very important to me, and attention to detail is felt in the little touches around the salon.

I am a very busy mum of three energetic boys, so when I do get spare time I love working out with the core team and socialising with friends. I also love days out with my gorgeous family.

Hi, I'm Emily, Senior Stylist at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I have been working at the salon for 6 years now and have worked my way up from apprentice to Senior Stylist, learning in the salon as I go. My favourite thing about being a hairdresser is being a real ambassador — I love helping people enhance their natural looks and seeing their reaction when they see the final result.

I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing from lazy blow dries to highlighting, and I love taking courses and learning new skills. I recently took part in a new extensions masterclass and I'm looking forward to taking part in more courses this year.

Outside of work I enjoy going shopping, spending time with family and friends, and taking my sausage dog Dolly for lovely walks.

Hi, I'm Kasia, Reception Manager at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I have been at the salon for 5 years now and I love my role. One of my favourite things about working at a hair salon is the interaction with the clients — I love getting to know them and building a relationship. Every client visit is important to me.

Another part of my role that I love is my mission to gradually transform the salon to be as sustainable as possible. We have already changed many things for the better, but I am looking forward to doing even more. We recently won Most Sustainable Salon in Surrey, and I couldn't be prouder of what we are doing as a salon to help the environment.

In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with my family and pets, making good food and socialising with friends. I also love all things vintage and enjoy drawing and painting when I get the time!

Hi, I'm Katy, Customer Service Co-ordinator at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I have over 20 years of experience in customer service and client engagement.

I fully support Amanda's passion for providing a first-class service to everyone who walks through our doors. The customer journey doesn't end when a client leaves — my role is to check in after the appointment and make sure the experience truly meets their expectations.

I absolutely love talking to people and listening to their feedback. Rest assured, we read every comment and are always looking to learn and improve.

When I am not on the phone I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dog and travelling. So next time you ring, remember it may be me — I look forward to speaking to you soon!

Hi, I'm Kristiana, Saturday Assistant at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I have worked here for over a year, assisting and helping with the running of the salon on a busy Saturday.

I am currently studying my A levels to pursue a career in law, but I am really enjoying working at the salon in the meantime and gaining valuable work experience in the process.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, visiting my home country of Italy and seeing my friends.

Hi, my name is Lily. I'm starting an apprenticeship at Amanda Flory Hairdressing. I worked in sales for 3 years previously, so I am really excited to be starting my hairdressing journey.

The thing I love most about hairdressing is the ability to make someone feel confident and really love their hair. At the moment I am enjoying practising hair-up styles and blow-dries, but I can't wait to get to the point where I am doing fundamental techniques like cutting. There is so much to learn, and I am excited to see where my training takes me.

In my spare time I enjoy seeing friends and family and going out.

I am passionate about the art of hairdressing and committed to learning and perfecting the latest techniques and trends in the industry. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to customer satisfaction, I strive to create beautiful, personalised looks for each client.

I am excited to grow and develop my skills under the guidance of experienced stylists and contribute to making every salon visit a fantastic experience. I love this job because I love seeing clients happy and making them feel good about themselves — and I also love the social side of working in a salon.
