At Amanda Flory Hairdressing, we are taking steps to make our salon more sustainable and decrease our carbon footprint.
This is very important to us and we continue to strive to do anything we can, big or small, to make a difference. We are also taking part in local community projects such as team litter picks and regularly host walk-to-work days. We have banned single-use plastic bottles in the salon too.
We are still relatively new to this journey and are determined to improve bit by bit, wherever we can, as time goes along.

We are extremely proud to be the first salon in the UK to stock Orilab. A luxury haircare range built on a no-water concept — water in the products is replaced with aloe vera, which is ultra nourishing and gentle on the scalp.

Fully biodegradable and made from sustainable sources — saving energy in the salon every single day.
First Mile Recycling
Nothing goes to landfill. Hair, foil and chemicals that can't be recycled are turned into renewable green energy.
Ecover Cleaning Products
Eco-friendly cleaning products used throughout the salon, including when washing gowns.
Eco Heads
Our basins are fitted with Eco heads, increasing water pressure while dramatically reducing water use.
Nespresso Coffee
We serve Nespresso and recycle every pod. They are also working with fair-trade growers at source.
Tea Pigs
An ethical tea company with fully recyclable packaging. A small choice, a real difference.
Filtered Water
All of our water is filtered in-salon — minimising single-use plastics without compromising on the experience.
Naked Sprout
A fantastic British company supplying our toilet roll and tissues — fossil-free, bleach-free, plastic-free, and every roll donates to charity.
LED Lighting
The majority of our lighting is already LED — we're on a mission to replace the remainder as soon as we can.
